I am working as a Technical  Support Engineer in Velan Info Services India Pvt Ltd , Coimbatore, where I am responsible for all IT related network activities and project coordination within the firm. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to work with prestigious concerns such as Sutherland Global Services Pvt Ltd, Assistanz Networks Pvt Ltd etc:

I have done my graduation in Business  Administration with Computer Applications and I am currently pursuing my Post Graduate Diploma in the field of Information Technology Management. I have got a good expertise in the arena of IT networking and Server Management. I do have a very good knowledge and hands on experience in administering, managing & troubleshooting Windows 2000/Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 server platforms combined with a good level of expertise on RedHat Linux EL 3 , EL 4 & EL 5 Servers. I have spent a good amount of time in doing a comparative analysis & research on most of the client operating systems offered by Microsoft , Sun, Apple & the Open source community.

I also had the wonderful opportunity to work on MSSQL 2K, MSSQL 2005,  MSSQL 2008, Mysql 4 & Webhosting control panels such as Helm, Plesk, Ensim (Parallels Pro), Parallels Confixx, Parallels VZPP, Hsphere, CWI Panel, Dotnetpanel, Webmin and CPanel & WHM.

Working on mail servers such as Exchange server 2003/2007, Mail enable, Smarter mail, Sendmail, Exim, Postfix, Qmail etc has always been a thrilling experience for me. Administration and management of customer profiles & their confidential data through various interfaces such as POA (Parallels Office automation), PBA (Parallels Business Automation & Modern bill also happens to be a part of my job profile.

I do have a good communication, relationship building skills (inter personal and soft skills) to manage, work with
and lead other people. Some of the best soft skills that I do have are good communication, listening skills, leadership skills, flexibility and understanding, intelligence, teamwork skills and creativity. After all soft skills have an important role to play in the ability of a person to manage and relate to other people, which for most jobs is much more important to job success than IQ or technical skills. Furthermore, I am experienced in project management.

I do believe in the concept of  ” learn while you work”. I always do love to pursue a successful career in the
field of information technology by ensuring credible performance with diligence in work and strive to be a
positive asset for an organization where I could unite my motive with the organizational goals so that both would
be mutually benefited. It has always been one of my lifetime ambitions to work in a firm where I could maximize
management skills, quality assurance, program development, and training experience. To become a successful IT
networking professional, you really need to have a good lot of presence of mind, visualizing and Conceptualizing
skills etc: apart from all the hardcore technical stuff.
